From 1992 to 2000, he worked in the legal departments of the banks BPS and Credit Suisse in Fribourg and the major business services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Pully/Lausanne. At PwC he advised Swiss and international clients in English and French.
In 2000, he joined Suter Attorneys-at-law, PWC’s correspondent law firm (and a member of the international law firms network Landwell) as senior associate, and in 2003 founded his own law firm , RWB Avocats (today FBT attorneys-at-law) , with three partners. Both of these firms were located in Pully/Lausanne.
In 2008, he returned to his native town, Fribourg, to found a law firm (Bersier & Carrel) in that town. During the same year, he obtained the diploma of labor law specialist from the Swiss Bar Association.
In 2013, he joined the law firm mbp|avocats as a partner. He has also been a lecturer since 2016 at HEG Fribourg, in the field of labor law.
